Knowlton Court’s reception rooms provide a stunning backdrop for a weekend with family or friends.
The Great Hall, with its imposing fireplace, marble floor, tapestries and suits of armour, makes for a striking entrance to Knowlton Court.
There are plenty of spaces for quiet contemplation and reading throughout the house, or more boisterous board games and convivial conversation. Pre-dinner drinks can be enjoyed in the Billiard Room (which is complete with full-size snooker table) with the opulent Drawing Room also the perfect entertaining space.
The grand wood-panelled dining room is naturally lit and offers a view of the main courtyard and drive during the day. It is exquisite by candlelight, ideal for formal dining. The more intimate Sitting Room boasts high ceilings, an open fire with ornate mantelpiece and a stunning bay window, which add to the elegance of this room.
There is also the Boudoir sitting room, another splendid wood-panelled room, complete with classic and period country house furniture and portraits.
